Morocco surf group trip
Surf on the Atlantic coast: Taghazout, Tamraght and Imsouane
Tell me when it opensComing up in 2027
The coast where you surf all winter
A three-hour flight from Europe there is a stretch of Atlantic that in winter is warm, full of waves and tagine. Tamraght and Taghazout are fishing villages turned surf capital of Morocco: long point breaks, sandy beaches for beginners, surf camps on rooftops with ocean views.
We are designing the Jiwa Morocco surf group trip for 2027: fixed base between Tamraght and Taghazout, lessons every morning with local instructors, a day in Imsouane for the longest wave in the country, the souk of Agadir and the villages of the Anti Atlas. Dates, itinerary and price are coming soon.
Why with Jiwa
- ✦Surf every morning, local instructors and separate levels
- ✦Fixed base: no packing every day
- ✦Imsouane, Anchor Point, Devil’s Rock: the right spots for every level
- ✦Small group, 8 to 15 people, solo travellers welcome
- ✦Giada with the group from start to finish
What it will be like
Surf in Tamraght and Taghazout
Morning lessons on the sandy beaches of Tamraght for beginners, the point breaks of Taghazout for those who already surf. Afternoons between rooftop yoga and sunsets.
Imsouane
A day in the bay with the longest right-hander in Morocco: you surf, eat fish at the harbour, come back covered in salt.
Real Morocco
The souk of Agadir, mint tea, a Berber dinner, Paradise Valley in the Anti Atlas. Surf is the morning, the country is the rest of the day.

Morocco surf trip: frequently asked questions
When do we leave?+
In 2027, between October and March: the wave season on the Atlantic coast, with 18–20 degree water and sun almost every day.
Do I need surf experience?+
No. Tamraght has sandy beaches perfect for starting. Those who already surf get sessions on the point breaks of Taghazout.
Do I need a wetsuit?+
Yes, a 3/2, included with the board. The water is cool but not cold.
How long is it?+
About 8 days with a fixed base between Tamraght and Taghazout and a day in Imsouane.
Is there a Morocco trip without surf?+
We are also thinking about an itinerary with Marrakech, the Atlas and the desert. Say it in the waiting list notes and we tell you if it runs.
How much does it cost?+
The price comes with the dates. As a reference, a Jiwa week with surf starts from about 900 euros per person, flights excluded.
