Surf and culture
Surf group trips
At 6 you are in the water, at 9 you have breakfast with someone who was a stranger two days ago. The rest of the day is the country hosting you.
Not just another surf week
A week of surf in a camp is a nice thing. A surf group trip with Jiwa is something else: you surf every morning, then you leave the camp and live the place. Scenic trains, markets, temples, dinners with local families, sunsets with the board under your arm. The base stays the same for most of the trip, so no packing every day.
Lessons are with local instructors and split by level: those who have never stood on a board learn in the right waves, those who already surf improve with video analysis and dedicated sessions.
Who it is for
For those travelling solo who want a group to share water and evenings with. For those who always wanted to try surfing and did not know where to start. For those who already surf and want warm waves and a real trip around them.
What is usually included
Stay in a surf camp or guesthouse, lessons and equipment, internal transfers, cultural activities and Jiwa guides from start to finish. Flight, insurance and free meals stay out. Every destination has its own page with the exact details.

I have never surfed, can I come?+
Yes. Day one starts on the beach with theory and practice in small waves. Most participants are first-timers.
Do I need to bring my board?+
No, board and wetsuit are included. If you have your own and want to bring it, we tell you how to handle the flight.
How many surf sessions are there?+
Usually one a day on the days spent at the base, early in the morning when the waves are best.
What is the difference with a surf week?+
A surf week stays in the camp. With Jiwa surf is the morning and the trip is everything else: moving around the country, local activities, a group that stays together out of the water too.
The next wave has a date.
Sri Lanka in March 2027 is open. Morocco and Tenerife are coming: join the waiting list.
